The righteous face more trials and temptations than anyone else.

It’s almost as if you are doing the right thing but, you still face so many problems.

You would expect to be free from all inequities whilst being a Christian that is righteous. Christianity is not an easy route but, it is most definitely worth it.

These trials and tribulations range from disappointments, prosecution, hurt and any others you could possibly think of.

This is when it gets real. The devil doesn’t want an unbeliever he wants you the righteous winning souls over, brings him joy and satisfaction he doesn’t want you to fulfil the will of God in your life he wants you to lose faith, start doubting. He wants you to give up.

“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.”Isaiah 54:17

God never said the weapons won’t form he said they SHALL not prosper. Disappointment will come failures will be there but God will see you through.

As long as you are confident in the lord

“Be my rock of safety where I can always hide. Give the order to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.”Psalms 71:3

You just have to trust him whenever things may go left. Being righteous does not always equate to everything going right it just means you are on the right path.

Where some Christians get it wrong is by blaming God for being tempted or the reasons why they are facing trials “And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else. Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away.” James 1:13-14  it’s funny how all the answers we seek are in the Bible or with God yet,we choose not to find them.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11  your spiritual armour is the word of God it guides you it doesn’t allow you to be set back with stupid thoughts as to why you may be suffering.

Trials and temptations will come it all comes down to how you handle it some of us are stronger than others so when we are tempted we can easily ignore whilst others are not.David was tempted and acted on this temptation 2samuel 11-12. God did not turn away from him,but our sins and actions prelude to consequences. When you act upon these temptations you become slaves to sin and you might try to cover it, leading you to face extenuating circumstances. How can you even hide your sins from God? The further you stray the happier the devil is. Go back to God, He is merciful. His love for you will never change.

Whatever it is you are going through lean on God, He is there. And if you find yourself acting on temptation ask God for forgiveness immediately, He is omni-benevolent  His grace will cover you.

You can stop yourself from acting on temptations by getting closer to God so improving your spiritual life: reading the word, praying and seeking God with all your heart. Deuteronomy 6:5

By studying the word, you see you are not alone, you are not the first and you are most definitely on the right path. Being a Christian is not easy but with Christ we can get through it. Some will hate others will condemn which can be discouraging “But when some of the Jews saw the crowds, they were jealous; so they slandered Paul and argued against whatever he said.”

Acts of the Apostles 13:45

Sometimes you may feel like no one understands or can even phantom what you are going through. There is someone, Jesus. Have you been betrayed ? So was Jesus. Have you been hurt? So was Jesus. No matter how much you try, people still don’t like you, Jesus was one of the most hated. He was crucified for something he didn’t do. You are not alone. God is there for you, the Holy Spirit is there to guide you and Jesus is there to assist you. Give it all to the Lord.

Whatever it is you are going through, remember you are not of this world, so you may not have every thing easy. God is preparing us for the afterlife. Lean on God he is always there. Our sufferings won’t last forever, Jesus is coming back again.
